  • Author: Elina

Description

These Lazy Cake Cookies are chewy, buttery cookie bars made from cake mix, eggs, and butter — no mixer or chilling needed. Packed with your favorite mix-ins, they’re quick, easy, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (or white or chocolate, if preferred)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup M&M’s or candy pieces (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and oil. Stir until a thick dough forms.

Fold in the chocolate chips and candy pieces if using.

Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is just set.

Let cool completely before slicing into squares.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
