Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Butter or oil for grilling the wraps
Instructions
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic powder, sautéed garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Lay out the tortillas and divide the filling mixture evenly among them. Spread the filling across the center of each tortilla.
Fold the sides of the tortillas in, then roll them up tightly into wraps.
Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
Place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
Remove from the skillet and let them rest for a minute before slicing in half. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
-
Use fresh garlic and sauté it to mellow the sharpness and enhance aroma.
-
A mix of mozzarella and cheddar creates the perfect cheesy balance—gooey and sharp.
-
For crispier wraps, use a cast-iron skillet or grill pan and press gently with a spatula.
-
Don’t overstuff the wraps; too much filling can cause tearing or uneven grilling.
-
Store ungrilled wraps separately from sauces to avoid sogginess.
