Description
This Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta is a cheesy, creamy, and savory one-pot meal that brings together the best of both worlds: classic cheeseburger flavor and indulgent Alfredo pasta. Loaded with seasoned ground beef, turkey bacon, cheddar, and rich cream sauce, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.
Ingredients
12 oz pasta (penne or rotini works great)
1 lb ground beef
6 strips turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
2 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp mustard (optional, for cheeseburger flavor)
Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
Add ground beef to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
Stir in the chopped cooked turkey bacon and mix well with the beef.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add cream cheese and stir until smooth.
Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring continuously until warm. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted into a creamy sauce. Add mustard if using.
Combine the cooked pasta, beef-turkey bacon mixture, and cheese sauce in the skillet or a large pot. Stir until everything is well coated and heated through.
Garnish with extra cheese, chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
-
Use freshly shredded cheddar for best melting results.
-
To reduce fat, swap heavy cream with half-and-half.
-
For extra texture, sprinkle crispy fried onions on top before serving.
-
The mustard is optional but adds a fun cheeseburger-style tang.
-
Store leftovers in individual containers for easy reheating during the week.
